Commercial Solar Installation

The Building and Construction Authority’s Green Mark Incentive Scheme provides subsidies for energy-efficient building upgrades that include solar installations. These incentives, combined with the decreasing cost of solar technology, have improved the payback period for solar systems to as short as five years, making solar a financially viable and sustainable energy choice in Singapore today.

Grid Export Benefits: Export excess electricity back to the national grid to help offset your overall costs over time.
Government Subsidies: Access BCA Green Mark Incentive Scheme subsidies for energy-efficient building upgrades and solar installations.
Rapid Payback Period: Achieve a solar system payback period in as short as five years through incentives and decreasing technology costs.

FAQ

Do I need batteries to install solar panels?

No. Batteries are optional. Most residential systems operate without batteries.

Is approval required before installation?

Yes. All necessary submissions and approvals are handled as part of the installation process.

Installation Period?

From the day of confirmation till completion, can take up to 6 months. This includes procurement and delivery, paperwork submissions and approvals, till actual installation and commissioning

What Solar Panels we use?

Currently we bring in Jinko Tiger Neo II Solar Panels. It is a high-efficiency N-type TOPCon module, offering impressive performance with efficiency rates around 22% and designed to operate reliably in extreme conditions.

The type of Solar Inverter utilized?

Huawei Sun2000 Inverter is designed to convert DC power from solar panels into usable AC power for use or grid export.

Are there any government incentives for installing solar PV system in Singapore?

Singapore does not offer direct cash subsidies for residential solar installations; however, homeowners can benefit from selling surplus energy back to the grid under schemes like the Simplified Credit Treatment and Enhanced Central Intermediary Scheme, as well as earn from selling Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs)
